ABOUT ME

I am a self taught Birmingham based photographer with a passion for urban landscape and outdoor photography.

I have often been complimented on the tranquil and serene mood conveyed in my photos. One of the main themes of my photography is to showcase the ‘breathing spaces’ in my home city of Birmingham; the places where we can find calm and stillness in the busy modern urban environment that we live in.

My work is loosely project  based. I have currently been working on a long term project on photographing the landmarks at the University of Birmingham from uniquely fresh and innovative perspectives. Upcoming projects include Birmingham’s waterways and Digbeth.

I take great pride in my compositions, taking time to create images immortalising my subjects in time and space.

My photography has been featured in the Birmingham Mail, the University of Birmingham social media and can often be seen reposted on high profile local photography social media sites including BBC Midlands Instagram.
